Shows, Events & Results
We hold a variety of events at Greatham Equestrian Centre, including Unaffiliated Dressage, Unaffiliated Show Jumping, Unaffiliated Combined Training and Pony Club Competitions.
We also offer a variety of clinics, covering dressage and jumping for both old and young and from novice to advanced standards; and from time to time we invite top professionals to Greatham Equestrian Centre for lecture/demonstration evenings.

Polocrosse training with Kim Stevens from Solent Polocrosse.
Our events encourage the more novice riders to “have a go” at competing in a relaxed, welcoming environment. If you haven’t competed before, not worry we can help you get ready and help you get your pony or horse ready too.

Senior Camp 2019 – Sunday 28th July – Thursday 1st August 2019. This is residential.
Junior Camp 2019 – Monday 5th, Tuesday 6th, Wednesday 7th, Thursday 8th August 2019. This is non residential.

We had a packed schedule starting at 9.25 going right through until 4 so it was all hands on decks to keep ponies and riders cool, fed and hydrated. All riders and ponies represented us beautifully.

Compton Cross Country event
On Friday 8th August nine of us and our mounts loaded up and drove to Compton to tackle the cross country cross.

Summer Gymkhana
On Friday 22nd August, from 12 noon, our Summer Gymkhana took place. The yard was buzzing with excited children getting their ponies (and horses) ready for the gymkhana races and the outdoor school was transformed into a gymkhana racetrack.

Beach Ride at Bracklesham Bay
After numerous times checking and double checking the tide times for Bracklesham Bay we arranged our annual beach ride for Monday 18th August.

Cross Country and Show Jumping Training at Lower Peake Farm
On Friday 15th August a group of nine riders and their horses/ponies took a trip to Lower Peake Farm in Warnford for a day of Cross Country and Show Jumping training.

Pony Club Regional Show Jumping Championships
GREATHAM EQUESTRIAN CENTRE PONY CLUB ARE THE REGIONAL TEAM SHOW JUMPING CHAMPIONS!!!
